Austin Wedding at Antebellum Oaks: Tiffany + Bryan

Tiffany + Bryan got married at Antebellum Oaks and we were so thrilled to be there. It was a gorgeous day which was exciting because it had been raining for days and we had no idea what the weather was going to be like.

The first thing we want to say is what I pleasure it was working with Cassie from A bride’s best friend. She is very organized and provided fabulous schedule so that we knew what was happening at all times. Thanks Cassie.
The wonderful vendors for this wedding were:
Venue: Antebellum Oaks
Bar Service: DNA events
Florist: Wild Bunches
DJ: Spacecraft Entertainment
Decor: Bee Lavish
Hair: Chrissie Kaufman
Makeup: Austin Beauty on the go
Rentals: Premiere Party Central
Bagpipe Player: Hylton Cruickshank
Caterer: Crave Catering
Transportation: R&R Limo and bus
Cake: Michelle’s Patisserie.  any Dr. Who fans?  look at the groom’s cake

All of these vendors made this day awesome-thanks you guys!

Tiffany chose to do most of her photos early before the ceremony so we had an opportunity to do a first look with our groom beforehand and that is always a lot of fun.  We loved the details and we loved the decor, what a beautiful wedding and we were so happy to have been chosen for this wedding.

Austin Bridal Portrait: Tiffany at Antebellum Oaks

We almost always forget to blog bridals because they are kept secret until the wedding and then the wedding comes and we post the wedding!  We are trying to get better at posting bridals because they are so pretty.

Tiffany’s bridals were done at Antebellum Oaks, which is actually where her wedding was as well. It was a 60% chance of rain for a week and we were so blessed with a gorgeous day!  We had a great time, her dress was gorgeous, she looked amazing and we had wonderful weather-how much better could it be?

We hope you enjoy images from her bridal session as much as we do!

Austin Engagement Session: Loren + Nate

Loren and Nate were so much fun. They have been together for 7 years. Nate recently proposed and what a proposal it was!  Loren is a runway model and during a runway bridal show, she was given the finale bridal dress and Nate walked up on the runway and proposed in front of everyone!  We saw the video and it made us all goosebumpy!

Special shout out to Adore Makeup Boutique & Salon. They did Loren’s makeup and it was beautiful!!

They are getting married next year and decided to do a spring time engagement session since the trees are so beautiful and green.   We did an extended session so that they could have three outfits to give us a great amount of variety for them.

We had a great time photographing them, hope you enjoy their photos as much as we do!

Save the Date cards

Save the Date cards are so popular for us. We love designing and printing them for folks!   “Save the date” cards are typically sent out about 6 months in advance. Through June 30th, 2013- every wedding couple that books us (even if their wedding is in 2014) will receive up to 100 “Save the date” or ” Thank you cards”. These are some of the designs that we offer.

Chad and Anna’s engagement session was at Star Hill Ranch. They wanted a very Texas feel and they wanted something sweet and romantic.   We loved their session so much that we decided to use them to show you all some examples of “save the date” cards that we have as our basic offerings.

These are customizable on color schemes for anyone.  We can also do custom designs as well.   We offer three shapes. The postcard style (rectangular), the scroll, and the scalloped edge.  We hope you love these as much as we do.

We have been asked to do Save the Date cards with other people’s photography but, we do not do that due to copyright and for respect to other photographers so we only do “save the date” cards for our engagement session or wedding clients.

The designs you see below are

Austin Engagement: Tiffany + Bryan

Tiffany and Bryan were awesome. We went down to the Wildflower Center for their extended engagement session. There are so many beautiful areas for photography there.  We joked around and had so much fun and you can just see how much in love they are.

We will be photographing their wedding  in May at Antebellum Oaks and we know it is going to be beautiful!

This is a sneak-peak at a few of their photos from their engagement session, hope you all enjoy them as much as we do.

Austin Engagement Photo Session: Lauren + Graham

Lauren and Graham were so cute!  We had such a great time. We went to the Capitol and then downtown Austin and then did a few images in the park.  They are getting married in December and we just cannot wait to photograph their wedding!

We did an extended engagement session with them. They are getting a super cute engagement sign in book, so the variety in the outfits and locations is great to have for that.

They were so wonderful to photograph and they looked so cute…all the shots were adorable! Anyway…here is a quick sneak peak of their engagement session!

Engaged: Kristen + Jason

Kristen and Jason are a fun, sweet couple who were so fun to photograph.  Austin is their destination wedding. They flew in and had meeting after meeting after meeting and then still had smiles left for our session!

They used to live here and they love the downtown area so we walked around and found some fun spots for them.  This is a sneak preiew of their session.  Kristen and Jason, we cannot wait to photograph your wedding in October!kristen jason engaged 1kristen jason engaged 2kristen jason engaged 3kristen jason engaged 4

Bridals-Austin Wedding Day

We are so blessed to be published photographers. Nathan and Deb had some more work featured in Austin Wedding Day Magazine. Bridal are really fun to do. Why do them?
1. Why not?
2. It is a Texan Tradition to bring a beautiful bridal to your wedding
3. It is a great experience and a great memory
4. Your photos will be passed down to your children and their children
5. One day, you will likely cherish your photos from “way back when”
6. Why not? ha ha
Anyway…pick up a copy of Austin Wedding Day Magazine in your local Barnes & Noble or other fine bookstores that sell wedding magazines.

The Makeup and Hair for both of these ladies was done by Adore Makeup & Salon.   If you need those services for your wedding, you cannot go wrong with them at all. Call Rhea, the owner, and you will immediately feel happy just by talking with her. We share a building with Adore Makeup & Salon now. We thought it would be a great pairing and it has been!!

And, if you are thinking you want something unique for your wedding jewelry…walk accross the street from Adore and walk into the Sugar Factory for something special.  Call Sugar and she will set you up. She made the jewelry for the girls in the photos below.bridal fashion

The cake vendors who made these amazing cakes are: Simon Lee Bakery, Amazing Cakes of Austin, Michelle’s PatisserieSweet Treets Bakery, Walton’sSentelli’s-Specialty Cakes and Fine Pastry

Nathan and Deb had a great time tag teaming these cakes.. This time, Nathan photographed the full page cakes (on the right of every spread) and Deb focused on the details of every cake (on the left side of every spread).  What a great time! Only sad thing is no one got to eat any of these cakes :(

Austin Wedding Day Magazine Published Angela + Dave’s wedding

We are so excited for Angela and Dave Penscak!  We photographed their wedding last year and we just loved them so much!! Looks like Austin Wedding Day Magazine loved them too because their wedding was one of the DISTINCTIVE WEDDINGS chosen for publication and it is in the January/Feb edition on page 368-371

If you are a new bride, you can find this magazine at Barnes + Noble, HEB, and other places that sell Wedding Magazines.

This wedding was held at The Vista on Seward Hill, which is one of our favorite venues in Austin!
